Experience

I’m an award-winning writer and content producer with a passion for storytelling, community building, and all things ocean.

I began my career as a researcher and producer at FRONTLINE PBS. Since then, I’ve written and produced documentary films for PBS, The History Channel, Discovery, and Curiosity Stream, as well as high-performing digital stories for leading brands.

I'm currently writing feature articles for Harvard University's Institute for Quantitative Social Science and blogs for Simply Business, an online insurance brokerage specializing in small businesses.

In 2010, I attended the Harvard Kennedy School where I focused on sustainable development and community organizing. After completing my master’s degree, I developed an online community for surfers and built a global following of over 10,000+ fans to promote ocean-friendly businesses and marine conservation efforts. More recently, I helped launch and lead thriving community organizing campaigns, including Clean The Creek, Cape Ann Surfers Union, and Cape Ann Climate Coalition.
